Toyota over 2 million Hybrids sold

Toyota prevails once again. And again in the hybrid market. In February of this year, Toyota hit its mark of selling 1 million hybrid vehicles, and in early August, a short 6 months later, has reached the 2 million mark in global hybrid sales.

Although Toyota sells 13 hybrid models in about 50 countries, Toyota gives much thanks to the North American car buyers who provided Toyota with more than fifty percent of their first 2 million. North America, being the largest hybrid market, brought in 1.15 million hybrid sales since its first vehicle’s launch in 2000.
