2010 Toyota Corolla improves with new standard safety feautures
Forty years ago, the Toyota Corolla showed its face in the United States for the first time, and since, it’s had great success – selling over 30 million globally. However, in recent years, it began to blend in with the other sedans on the road. So this year, Toyota gave its lineup’s staple model a boost, making it even safer and more fuel efficient than its competitors.
Toyota has equipped its new 2010 Corolla models with VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) with TRAC (Traction Control). Although Toyota sells 13 hybrid models in about 50 countries, Toyota gives much thanks to the North American car buyers who provided Toyota with more than fifty percent of their first 2 million. North America, being the largest hybrid market, brought in 1.15 million hybrid sales since its first vehicle’s launch in 2000. Although these numbers are impressive comparatively, it took a bit of time for the hybrid trend to take off.
